WOW!!!!!!!!! I'am done!!!!! shocked actually that I got all the way to the end...and it only took like 3 candy bars and a bag of Dove thanks to Kristen....

Looking back over all the 23 things I have really learned alot in this program and would I sign right up for the next one.. Oh yeah... there's alot more out there that I need to learn. I know I will go back to majority of the sites I found and there are a few that no don't think I will tackle them again. Mashups was one the other was technorati. But you never know I might go back and try again when I have more time. That was my only other down fall was trying to do this program at the circulation desk. It made it much harder because the time you got to where you needed to be you had to stop and when you started back up it was like starting all over again..... Ok I'am done whining.

Really enjoyed the program....

I now have an net library account can't believe I had not already done this....
But now I'am up to date.... I found a couple titles I would down load. But why do they not have all the Janet Evanovich's titles. Just can't figure that out.....
Now on to the next Thing.....

As you can see I have accomplished using Zoho Writer which will be very convenient to our patrons.

Because we only have 1 computer with word processing on it.

This video is defintely me (CH0C0LATE)lots of chocolate. Which by the way I ate lots and lots of this weekend but I had a good excuse for eating that much.. I was helping my daughter move so to keep me going... I needed chocolate......

Discovering web 2.0 tools. I got on and did like you said and played around. I bookmarked a couple of the sites that I found were very good. Really liked the one site called Coctail builder
found a drink my sister and I have been looking for since January when we went to cancun.
The one I was looking for was Banana Monkey which I didn't quite find it but this one is close enough. We will try this one called Slippery Monkey.........

Still moving right along now. My blog spot is now posted on Sandbox. Thank you Kristen for adding a spot for us......Yes we did need our own spot glad you got to it first I don't know if I would of figured it out.....

Wiki's well I first heard about wiki at a workshop I took at a conference thought it sounded pretty interesting... But they assumed everyone knew what, when and where so I didn't learn anything. Took it again this year with hope and they talked it down saying not all acurate information don't use this information as a reference... So now with that and reading what I read today about it I'am just not quite sure about wiki's.

I began reading the articles about 2.0 the one called Away from iceburgs. It had some very interesting points I agreed with. You can not teach the public about the new technology if you do not know how to use it yourself. So this is defintely a good start for me and I have a long way to go.... I also agreed with more of bringing the information to the patron without them having to come to the libray. Not saying for all but for the ones who can not get out. I do believe the library should be a little bit more acomodating to the ones who need it. Guess I 'am defintley talking about us the smaller libraries.. Ok enough on this one I could just go on and on but no time I need to get the rest of these things done.

With being on the circulation desk it took me 2 hrs. just to post this one blog....oh Well

Here is my Rollyo link. Now what did I think of this web site. Not bad I can see where it would save alot of time. I put in the 3 I hit the most which would be my future son-n-laws, The Preston Mitchum's foundation. Then of course my escape site which would be the vacation site that I just look at and dream about.... The last one I thought should go on was the wedding site being mother of the bride I should keep checking what I should be doing......Then go back and escape again it that vacation site.......

Ok now to talk about technology. These past weeks have been full of all the new technology (well atleast new to me) I think my brain can handle. I was not quite sure I would make it this far. I do admit I have enjoyed it so far and have learned alot.... till next time.....

Well for my week 3 thing 6 I explored the different things on flickr and found the Fd's Flickr toys. That was great I could create anything I wanted. I just need to work on getting more pictures together. I thought the calender was really neat and the magazine cover..... Neat stuff.....

My thoughts about lifelong learning. I have listened to all the 7 1/2 habits and have chosen my hardest one first which would be learning of new technology. I find that I just don't take the time to try it. My easiest would be problems as challenges if there is something that needs to be done I just jump in and do it, maybe not exactly the right way but I will get it done.
